Roof of an under-construction building collapsed in a park in Hilijang in Rural Municipality-7 of Panchthar district, today morning two people died.
Panchthar District Police Office (DPO) identified the deceased as Jagat Rai (50) and Rudra Rai (51) of Hilihang-7.
According to Information officer at the District Police Office, Inspector Anil Paudel, the newly concreted roof of under-construction building of Yalambar Park collapsed burying Rai duo, in Tahari this morning. The incident occurred while they were working on support for ceiling to be removed after concreting the roof.
According to police deployed for the onsite inspection, the preparation was on to send another one injured in the incident.
