Two Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG) of Nepal Police deputed at Nepal Police Hospital at Maharajgunj have tested positive for COVID-19.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kuber Kadayat, Nepal Police spokesperson, confirmed that the two DIGs working in the hospital were found with the infection.

Infection has been confirmed in 155 police officials until now working in the police headquarters and the hospital.

Out of 620 confirmed infected personnel of the police across the country, 140 have recovered from the virus till the date.
