Udaypur, Apr. 22: It has been found that three COVID-19 patients of Bhulke, Udaypur, which has been the ‘hotspot’ of COVID-19 spread in Nepal, had entered Nepal from Dubai and India.
24 COVID-19 patients have been identified in Bhulke till now out of which a youth, residing at mosque area of Bhulke, had entered Nepal on March 20. He had been studying at mosque in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Likewise, another person, working as a tailor in New Delhi, India, had come to Nepal on March 23, informed Dil Bahadur Budha Magar, Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Udaypur.
Further, another person had come to Nepal on March 23 from Dubai.
The travel history of these three persons has given a new twist to the contact tracing being done by the government.
Currently, the police have sealed all the entry points to Udaypur district.
