Due to Snowfall Public transportation on the Tribhuvan Highway has been affected in Simbhanjyang and Aghor of the highway. As a result, the Hetauda-Kathmandu transportation remains affected since early this morning, according to the Area Police Office in Palung.

A decision was taken to stop traffic as accidents were likely with the road becoming slippery due to the snowfall, said spokesperson of the District Police Office, Indra Bahadur Rana. Work is being carried out to remove snow from the road and resume traffic after the weather improves.

As a result, hundreds of vehicles from Hetauda to Kathmandu have been stranded along with their passengers in Simbhanjyang and Aghor.

According to Palung Police, the sun is shining in Palung at present, Simbhanjyang.
