Shrinkhala Khatiwada is an Architect and Nepali beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nepal 2018. She is representing Nepal in Miss World 2018. Khatiwada was born in Hetauda, Province No. 3. She is from a family with political background. Her father, Birodh Khatiwada is CPN (UML) leader who was elected as a member of central parliament from Hetauda Constituency no. 2 in general election of 2017 for the fourth time.
Khatiwada completed SLC from Hetauda Academy, and high school from Goldengate International College. She studied architecture at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus. She is fond of writing.
From her childhood, she was interested in designing and creative stuff. So, she joined IOE, Pulchowk engineering college for Architecture Engineering. Besides her designing and writing hobbies, her passion led her to be one of the participants in Miss Nepal 2018 representing Hetauda.
According to the ethics and her performance it is nearly sure that Shrinkhala Khatiwada will win the title of Miss World. She is hardworking and down to earth.She lives her life in a simple way.She is working in Architect Engineering Filed and her worked has been always the best and her skilled is perfect in this filed.She do her work generously and with full effort.She is bold,beautiful,simple and multi-talented.
Khatiwada belong to royal family and her childhood was very awesome.All family her in her every step.No doubt she has been brought up with the facilities she wants,her wish and dream have been fulfilled by her parents.Her parents love and care her so much.Every family love and care her children and she belong to political background family.Her father and mother both are in politics.
Newly crowned Miss Nepal World 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada has urged the government to prioritize the pageant as it was a platform to represent Nepal across the world.Khatiwada shared that the government needed to support the pageant the way it supported national sports.“We are called by the name. We are recognized as Miss Nepal,” she said adding that support from the government would send positive message across the world while boosting confidence of the winners.
At a time when majority of former pageant crowns are in film industry, Khatiwada shared her interests were in the field of architecture.
“This is my passion,” she said adding, “I am poor with acting and performance. I have neither skills nor interest in the film industry.”
While the Miss Nepal didn’t clearly express her plans to join politics like her parents, she nevertheless maintained that it was essential for youths to understand politics.
“Anyone who votes without understanding politics hinders development and progress,” she argued.
“There are ample topics in the Miss World and I will see to it that I raise issues of rape, education among others to ensure a sustainable impact.”
In addition, Khatiwada shared that she’d give the best of her abilities to perform well in the global pageant. Ishani Shrestha was one of the top five contestants last year. Shrestha had also won “Beauty with purpose” title.
Shrinkhala has a Degree in Architecture and is currently working as an Architect. She is a National Chancellor for the International Association of Educators for World Peace and President of The One Home Foundation. Shrinkhala has aspirations to be the first female Prime Minister of Nepal. She enjoys writing, reading, travelling and trekking she also composes poetry very quickly and has been writing a children’s novel. Personal Motto: ‘You can do it.’
