The construction of modern and new types of overhead bridges is expected to ease traffic congestion and reduce the number of road accidents. Over Bridges in Kathmandu valley are all over the places. The Overhead Bridges are good means of crossing the world without risk.
All people should use this bridge so their will be less traffic and all people can reduce the risk of accident. Some people use some don’t if all people use than their will be less accident. Some people are in hurry so they cross the road without any safety this is bad for them and for others too.
According to KMC’s Physical Infrastructures Division Chief Ram Bahadur Thapa, the metropolis is coordinating with the Traffic Police and the Department of Roads for construction of the bridges.
The over-head bridges will be built in Teku Bhansar, Tripureshwor, Maitighar, Babar Mahal (Kathmandu District Court), Putalisadak, Maharajgunj, Koteshwor and Gaushala, Thapa added.
Meanwhile, a budget of Rs 120 million has been allocated to construct new bridges in the valley.
So we all should use Overhead Bridges and make other too use it and control the risk of road accident. This is made for our own safety so people should use and teach their children too.
