Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged that the former rulers are conspiring to break the communist unity that is currently governing the country.
The old regime and its supporters are involved in a series of conspiracies to manipulate and weaken the people’s faith in the communist government so that they could reinstate their lost ascendancy, Dahal said at an event in Butwal, Rupandehi, on Sunday.
The NCP leader said it would be detrimental for the country if the people were not made aware of the attempts that were being made to weaken the unified communist party. He, however, did not say what ploys the so-called past rulers are making to undo the communist unity.
Dahal said that there were anti-communist elements among the left of centre parties and those operating from foreign soils that were actively plotting against the NCP.
At this hour, he said the people should be made aware of the goings-on that could directly hit the communist union lest they should unwittingly take side of those who mean harm to the country.
