NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.61% and Closes at 1,848.82; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 72.12 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,848.80 today after gaining 11.19 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.61%. The index had lost 38.81 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,838.4 and went intraday high at 1,862.48. Then the index made intraday low at 1,838.14 and ultimately closed at 1,848.82.

226 scrips traded hands via 19,879 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,531,370 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 72.12 Crores in the turnover amount. This is alot lower than last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.229 Arba.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.38 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 762.10 per share. The shares of NABIL BALANCED FUND-2 (NBF2) traded the most.

Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) lost highest 3.63% today.

Only sector closed red, “Mutual Fund” lost 0.44% while “Finance” gained the highest 1.79%.
