Nepali Wuma Kung fu athletes secured seven medals on WMAC World Cup Bregenz Open Championships 2019.
The championship was held during November 15-16, 2019, Nepal won seven medals in seven different game categories. Sanjay Putuwar won Gold, silver and Bronze respectively, whereas Kamal magar secured two silvers and one bronze, in three different categories. Ramesh maharjan could secure one bronze medal.
In a honor, the World Martial Arts Committee President Harals Folabori and Secretary-General Denila Klofar presented medals to the winners.
The players returned to Nepal on November 20, 2019, team was warmly welcomed in Tribhuwan International Airport by the president of Nepal Uma Kung fu Association, and WMSC international Board of Director, Ashok K.C. along with the Asian WMAC International Director, Siddhartha Lama, and Vice president of Nepal Uma Kungfu Association, Sanjit Rai.
