Nepal has made a winning start with a victory against Sri Lanka in the women’s football under the South Asian Games (SAG) played in Pokhara on Tuesday.
Nepal beat Sri Lanka 1-0 at the first game .The first half saw a neck-to-neck competition between the two teams as neither could produce a goal in the first 45 minutes.
In the match Saru Limbu scored late in the 88th minute to guide Nepal to the victory over Sri Lanka.
Nepal will next take on the Maldives on December 5 at 5:00 pm and India and Maldives will play later this afternoon.
