Narayan Khadka, a Central Working Committee member of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has been appointed the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed NC lawmaker Dr Narayan Khadka, as Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was appointed to the post as per Article 76 (9) of the Constitution on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

President Bhandari is scheduled to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed Minister Khadka this afternoon.
