National Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMFBS) has proposed a 45% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 01 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 41.90 crores. 40% bonus shares and 5% cash dividend (tax purposes) have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth a little over Rs. 16.76 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 2.09 crores.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company’s upcoming AGM. NMFBS closed at Rs. 3,588.80 yesterday.

Similarly, Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has proposed a 30% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 01 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.83 Arba. 27% bonus shares and 3% cash dividend (tax purposes) have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth a little over Rs. 49.41 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 5.49 crores.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company’s upcoming AGM. CBBL closed at Rs. 1,755.00 yesterday.
