May 29: The government is scheduled to present the budget for the coming fiscal year in a joint sitting of both the houses of the federal parliament on Sunday at 4 PM.

In the second meeting of the House of Representatives held on Saturday, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced the budget schedule for the coming fiscal year to be presented by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Earlier, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had presented the Economic Survey 2022/23, Annual Status Review of Public Enterprises 2022 and Ministry-wise Progress Report, Facts of Fiscal Year 2077/078 BS and details of Fiscal Year 2021/22 to the House of Representatives.
