Australian Embassy has signed an MOU with Nepal Airlines for a direct flight to sydney.

Due to the global pandemic Covid-19, many people are stucked at some corner of this world and cannot go back to their home country.Meanwhile, Australian Embassy has again taken an initiative for registered Australians in Nepal to come back to the home country.

The Australian Embassy has recently signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nepal Airlines for a commercial flight to Sydney on 6 May to get Australians home. A month ago a Nepal Airlines flight came to Australia with registered Australian in Nepal.

They also had commenced discussions on a second (and final) flight on 15 May to encourage registered Australians to take this opportunity to leave. The last day for bookings on the 6 May flight is Sunday 3 May.

According to the Embassy ,Only those registered with the embassy will be accepted on these flights. If you wish to register, please email the embassy at austembassy.kathmandu@dfat.gov.au
