All eighteen persons who died in the Sukute bus accident in Sindhupalchowk on Araniko Highway  had been identified.

They are: Chetan Kumari Basnet, 52, Salina Tamang, 6, three month old infant Nishan Tamang, Chameli Shrestha, Ratna Kumari Raut, 47, Ranjita KC, 24, Sayarani Shrestha, 6, Kiran Raut, 29, Kabita Raut, 20, Rikesh Khadka, 14, Diyuna Lama, 14, Nirmala Khadka, 32, Sajina Tamang, 5, Uramaya Moktan, 70, Sanu Raut, 38, Nikesh Khadka, 13, Puja Basnet, 56, and Bijaya Tamang, 23.

The bodies of 16 of the deceased have been kept at the Barhabise Primary Health Centre and one each at Shir Memorial Hospital of Dhulikhel and Dhulikhel Hospital.

According to Police , preparations were on to hand over the bodies to the respective families.

Of the 55 injured, 28 are being treated at Dhulikhel Hospital, two at Shir Memorial Hospital and three at Norvic Hospital of Kathmandu .

Likewise, one each is being treated at Trauma Centre, Grande International Hospital and Annapurna Hospital and the rest had returned home,police said.
